Dongguan, China – August 28, 2026 — A certificate presentation ceremony was held at Dongguan Villo Technology Co., Ltd. on August 28 to mark the certification of Villo’s explosion isolation rotary valve.
Villo CTO and Head of Explosion Protection, Miao Nan, together with the company’s management team and technical specialists, attended the ceremony. Kristof, Head of Industrial Explosion Protection and Industrial Risk Assessment Services at TÜV SÜD Greater China, formally presented the EU CE-ATEX certification and Chinese explosion protection certificate to Villo.

The dual certification provides independent third-party recognition of the product’s explosion protection and explosion isolation performance, marking an important milestone in Villo’s continued development of internationally certified explosion protection solutions.

Why Explosion Isolation Matters

Under the European ATEX Directive 2014/34/EU and relevant standards, including EN 15089, TÜV SÜD conducted design reviews and type testing to assess the product’s explosion protection and explosion isolation performance.
Following multiple rounds of testing and assessment, Villo’s explosion isolation rotary valve successfully obtained both EU CE-ATEX certification and Chinese explosion protection certification.
The certifications provide customers with independent third-party verification when evaluating explosion protection equipment for combustible dust applications.
